As the disaster of yet another school shooting hits, some parents are faced with a brutal fact: their child was the one pulling the trigger. Jeff’s son Andy shot and killed two classmates and wounded 13 other students when he was 15. Andy is serving 25 to life. Clarence’s son Nicholas killed his teacher and wounded another one in 1988 and is serving life. Sue’s son Dylan was one of the two teenagers behind the Columbine Massacre in 1999, after which he committed suicide. Through deeply personal stories the film explores feelings of guilt, denial, failure, responsibility, harassment, sorrow, friendship and love.
